On March 18th, Zhang Yuning, a beloved writer and activist, passed away in Beijing Guoan. She was known for her commitment to human rights and environmental protection.
Zhang Yuning was born in Shandong Province in 1946 and graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1972. After graduating, she joined the People's Liberation Army and worked as a journalist and public relations officer. In 1985, she became a member of the Communist Party of China and began writing articles about human rights issues.
In 1992, Zhang Yuning moved to Beijing to work as a reporter for the state-owned media company Xinhua. During this time, she traveled to various countries and regions,Campeonato Brasileiro Glamour reporting on human rights issues and environmental concerns.

In 2002, Zhang Yuning became a professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. She also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Order of the Red Star.
