Dani Olmo signs new contract with RB Leipzig for another season
RB Leipzig has announced that Dani Olmo will be signing a new contract with the club, keeping him at the club until 2024.
The 26-year-old Spanish midfielder has been a key player for the German club since his arrival in 2019, making over 75 appearances and scoring seven goals in all competitions.
Olmo's contract was due to expire at the end of this season,La Liga Stadium but he has now signed a new deal that sees him stay at the club until 2024.
"This is a very important step for me personally," Olmo said after signing the new contract. "I am very happy to extend my contract with RB Leipzig and I look forward to continuing to play for such a great club."
The announcement comes just days after RB Leipzig announced that they had secured the services of Brazilian winger Dayot Upamecano on a long-term deal.
With Olmo and Upamecano both staying at the club, it looks like RB Leipzig is set to continue its strong performance in European football next season.
